Our Story: From a Dream in One Room to Magic in Every Celebration

It all started in 2021 in a small apartment on the outskirts of Chicago. We were a family of immigrants, right in the middle of the pandemic, when the world stopped — but life didn’t. What began as a simple hobby — handcrafting decorations for children’s parties — quickly became our way to keep the family going, bring joy to others, and hold onto hope that even in hard times, magic is still possible.

We launched our first little shop on Etsy under the name LamaMoon — like moonlight that always finds its way through the darkness. Every balloon, every gift box, every cupcake stand was made with love by our family’s hands. Customers wrote us the sweetest messages: “Thank you for making my child’s birthday unforgettable,” “Your decorations felt like a little miracle.” Those words became our fuel.

Over the years, we grew — from that one room to a full family business, Taberik Inc., based right here in Palos Park, Illinois. We learned exactly what parents want: bright, modern, yet truly heartfelt and high-quality party pieces that turn ordinary moments into something special.

Excited by our success and ready for the next chapter, we decided to build something truly our own. That’s how LamaMoon Party Shop was born — now living independently at lamamoon.com since January 2026.

Today we ship boxes full of balloons, themed decorations, and good wishes all across the United States (and internationally upon request). Every order is a continuation of our journey: from that tiny apartment to the festive table in your home. We’re still the same family, still making things by hand and with heart, but now we have the freedom to dream even bigger and serve you directly.
